Epsom Salt Uses & Benefits


Epsom salt is magnesium sulphate, a chemical compound containing magnesium, sulphur and oxygen. Easily available at your neighbourhood chemist, this humble salt is good for you in so many ways.

Many of us are deficient in magnesium, and by simply soaking in a relaxing bath with magnesium-rich Epsom salt we can boost our levels of this important element. Detoxification

Your body can accumulate a residue of medications and impurities from the environment. Soaking in a bath of Epsom salt can pull these toxins from the cells of your body through reverse osmosis. Digestion

Sulfates trigger the pancreas to release digestive enzymes as they are needed. While sulfates are not easily obtained through foods, they can absorb very quickly through your skin.
